When you use BugJar, we store:

  • Account info: Email address (via authentication provider)
  • Feedback data: Bug reports, feature requests, and general feedback including titles, descriptions, and optional screenshots
  • Contact info: Email address if voluntarily provided in feedback submissions for follow-up
  • Usage preferences: License status and cookie consent (stored in your browser's localStorage)

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To collect and triage user feedback across Cashew Crate apps
  • To respond to bug reports and feature requests
  • To improve Cashew Crate products based on user feedback
  • To process payments via Polar

We do not sell your data or share feedback submissions with third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Google AdSense: Ads shown to free users (with cookie consent). Subject to Google's privacy policy.
  • Polar: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions
  • Supabase: Secure database hosting for feedback data
  • Cloudflare R2: Screenshot storage (private buckets with signed URLs)

5. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (session management) and, with your consent, for Google AdSense advertising. You can accept or reject advertising cookies via the cookie consent banner. Essential cookies for authentication cannot be disabled.

6. Data Security

Feedback data is stored securely in our database. All connections use HTTPS encryption. Backend access uses service-role authentication — feedback data is not publicly accessible. Screenshots are stored in private buckets with time-limited access URLs.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Feedback data is retained as long as needed for issue resolution. You can request deletion of your submitted feedback by contacting support@cashewcrate.com.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Contact support@cashewcrate.com to exercise these rights.
